ตั้งแต่ที่ผมยังเป็นเด็ก ผมได้รับการผลักดันและแรงบันดาลใจที่จะเป็นแพทย์จากครอบครัวโดยเฉพาะจากคุณแม่เสมอมา ขณะที่ผมกำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับมัธยมปลายนั้น ผมได้ร่วมประสบการณ์จากการที่คุณแม่ของผมได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าเป็นมะเร็ง และได้เข้ารับการรักษาตามมาตรฐานทั่วไปอย่างเต็มที่ หลังจากนั้นไม่นานคุณแม่ก็จากไปด้วยโรคร้ายนี้
นี่คือจุดที่ทำให้ผม ไม่เพียงแต่จะทำการศึกษาแนวทางการแพทย์ตามมาตรฐานในกระแสหลักเพียงแต่ศาสตร์เดียว แต่ยังทำให้ได้ผมพยายามศึกษาถึงการแพทย์ในศาสตร์ต่างๆที่ช่วยในการบำบัดและเยียวยามนุษย์อย่างหลากหลาย และพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อเยียวยารักษาผู้ป่วยให้ดีมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยเมื่อยิ่งได้ศึกษามากขึ้นยิ่งได้รับรู้ว่าการแพทย์ทั้งหลายนั้นล้วนมีข้อจำกัดที่แตกต่างกันออกไป และดูเหมือนว่ายังไม่มีแนวทางหรือหนทางใดที่จะสามารถทลายข้อจำกัดเหล่านี้ได้
จนกระทั่งได้พบกับ “การแพทย์มนุษยปรัชญา” ที่มาตอบคำถามและทลายกำแพงอุปสรรคนี้ ด้วยมุมมองที่กว้างขวางและลึกซึ้งสวยงามของธรรมชาติและมนุษย์ โดยจากประสบการณ์ที่ผ่านมาในชีวิตของผมนั้นพบว่า ถ้าจะมีการแพทย์ใด ที่ใกล้เคียง สิ่งที่เรียกว่า “สามารถสร้างความมหัศจรรย์ได้” สิ่งนั้นคือการแพทย์มนุษยปรัชญา

May wisdom shine through me,
ขอให้ความรักเติบโตภายในฉัน
ขอให้ความแข็งแกร่งแทรกซึมฉัน
ในตัวฉัน นั้นถือกำเนิดผู้ช่วยเหลือมนุษยชาติ
ผู้รับใช้สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์, ที่ไร้อัตตาและเป็นความจริง
ขอให้ปัญญาทอแสงผ่านฉัน
